Seoul Performing Arts Festival (SPAF) will be hosting the performance at the beginning of October 2019. This event is part of the celebration of 60 years collaboration between Denmark and Korea.
3, 4 & 5 October 2019 Venue: Korea National University of the Arts an Odin Teatret ensemble performance directed by Eugenio Barba.
BANQUET OF MUSIC & POETRY - GWANGJU, KOREA
Part of the ensemble will continue to Gwangju (Korea) as part of a new and developing collaboration with the ACC - Asian Cultural Centre facilitated by a close friend of Odin Teatret Professor Dongil Lee (Korea). The programme for this visit involves the local community and includes among other activities practical workshops with actors Carolina Pizarro and Kai Bredholt and the creation of a banquet of music and poetry, led by Kai Bredholt, to be presented on the last evening there (10th Oct).

The theatre director EUGENIO BARBA and the actress JULIA VARLEY return to Brasilia for the project THE SECRET ART OF THE ACTOR - BRAZIL, the Artistic Residence with Eugenio Barba. Created by the director of the Cia. YinsPiração Poetias Contemporáneas, Luciana Martuchelli, and by the director of Odin Teatret, Eugenio Barba, the annual and unique event together with the Danish group has been produced by TAO Filmes in the Brazilian capital since 2008.

Feats of Performing 2020. A journey into hidden meanings.
A workshop conducted by Odin actors Donald Kitt and Carolina Pizarro
The workshop will begin every day with physical and vocal training. We will concentrate on exercises developed by Odin Teatret using sticks as a tangible force as well as the principles of Kalaripayattu to focus on the performer's dynamic centre (core). The afternoons will be devoted to the creation of material inspired by the training and by our proposals, and we will work on codification, organicity, rhythm and repetition.

The Laboratory Spirit 2. International NTL Theatre Festival Meeting
From the 29th of January to the 2nd of February 2020 the second NTL Theatre Festival and Meeting will be held at Odin Teatret, with workshops, work demonstrations, work-in-progress, performances and a symposium. The NTL Festival will present the work of some of the artists and groups that make up the autonomous and connected constellation of NTL long-time residents and co-productions. The second NTL Festival is open to 25 participants who can follow the whole programme and share time and experience with the NTL resident artists.

Twelve days sharing life and work with Eugenio Barba and Odin Teatret's actors
focusing on THE VERSATILITY OF THE SCORE THE DRAMATURGY OF THE ACTOR AND THE DRAMATURGY OF THE DIRECTOR
Cohabitation 3 implies actively sharing Odin Teatret's actors' work milieu in their everyday individual and collective artistic as well as social tasks. The focus of Cohabitation 3 will be on the "versatility of the score", intended as a theatrical structure resulting from the dramaturgy of the actor and the dramaturgy of the director.
Under the guidance of Odin actors, the participants will start from exercises as models for a score. Then they will create scenes and will blend their personal scores of physical, vocal and musical actions into a montage with a text.

Witnessing the First Phase in the Composition of an Odin Teatret Performance
A two-week immersion rehearsing with Eugenio Barba and his actors
For two weeks, Odin Teatret will rehearse its next production ISHI in the presence of 20 selected people participating as a "collective mind". After watching the rehearsals, the participants will gather to comment the day's work and ask questions to Eugenio Barba. They will discuss with him, pointing out unclear situations, unexpected possibilities and new perspectives in a specific score, scene or situation.
Odin Teatret's new performance has the provisional working title of ISHI. It depicts a love story in a landscape of languages which are withering and extinguishing. The work is in its embryonic phase and open to all radical developments.
